Salt Lake
Salt Lake
Salt Lake is west of conventional. It’s a place where open minds and unconventional ideas take flight. Every day, great minds are visualizing a better way forward. And they’re doing it here. A place where innovation and invention come naturally. The site of a new $4.2 billion international airport ranked #1 for on-time arrivals and departures. Home to a convention center so grand it’s considered a palace. And an expo center appropriately deemed a mountain. Big thinking led to a new convention hotel with 700 rooms and 60,000 square feet of meeting space, opening 2022. And while meetings might look different now, Salt Lake is the ideal place for your next inspiring event.
Quick Facts: With the new 700-room Hyatt Regency Convention Hotel that opened fall of 2022, Salt Lake’s convention district features approximately 8,000 guest rooms within walking distance of the downtown Salt Palace Convention Center, which features 515,000 square feet of exhibit space and 164,000 square feet of meeting space, including 67 breakout rooms.
The new, recently opened $4.2 billion Salt Lake City International Airport—the first hub airport to open in the 21st Century—is served by all major U.S. airlines and is one of Delta’s primary hubs. Just 8 miles from downtown via taxi/shuttle/shared ride or TRAX light rail, travelers can reach their hotel and the city’s award-winning restaurants and brewpubs in just minutes. Utah’s capital city is home to professional ballet, symphony, and opera performances as well as the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and screens nearly half of the Sundance Film Festival’s annual submissions.
